Ciele Athletics

Ciele's own site opens with its mission line: "Ciele Athletics aims to move people to movement, connection & community through considered equipment and exceptional experiences." Their tagline, "everybody run," reflects the founders' belief that running underlies most other sports. One customer review featured on their own site captures the manufacturing angle directly: "Heavyweight cotton, comfortable, and built to last. I appreciate that it's made in Canada and I look forward to wearing this classic hoodie for years to come."

The brand launched in Montreal in 2014, founded by two action-sports veterans (one a former furniture designer) who saw an opportunity nobody else was taking seriously: the running cap.
