Food Huggers' story is told directly on Amazon's own seller-success page: after a Kickstarter campaign got copied wholesale by counterfeit listings ("They used our photos, our logos, our video... everything"), the Vancouver founder registered trademarks, patented the product, and became one of the first brands to use Amazon's Brand Registry program to fight back. It's now a genuine "small Canadian company beats the counterfeiters" story, not a manufactured one.
